MAKASI PRODUCTS STAR IN PADDINGTON IN PERU!

The new film ‘Paddington in Peru’ has just come out – Dan and Lisa took their nieces Maggie and Josie to see it and they all loved it. In fact, Josie said it was the best film she’d ever seen so it comes very highly recommended.

And why are we telling you this? Well, we were sworn to secrecy until the film’s release but we can now excitedly reveal that Makasi were lucky enough to supply Marmalade Films with a fabulous selection of Makasi coffee tables, chairs, stools and accessories that appear in many of the film's Peruvian scenes – they even used our thick, solid teak bar table tops to make some stunning furniture props featured throughout the film. We are also chuffed to bits that at the climax at the very end of the film, one of the main characters is sitting on one of our large root chairs!

Paddington in Peru has already got some rave reviews (we’re not surprised as it’s absolutely brilliant), with some well-known faces and new characters played by Olivia Coleman and Atonio Banderas, amongst others – great, heart-warming fun for the whole family.
